
K. Scott Simpson
Scott completed a post-doctoral fellowship (FCAMPT) in Physiotherapy at University of Western Ontario, having previously completed Doctorate and Masters degrees. He’s now an instructor and mentor in the Canadian and US fellowship programs. He’s been Therapist for various National Teams. Scott is trained in IMS dry needling and manipulative therapy techniques.

Ellis Martin
Born and raised in Port Alberni, Ellis has always known Vancouver Island as his home. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Victoria in 2018 before taking a couple years off school to work at Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario. He then completed his Masters of Physical Therapy in 2022 at the University of British Columbia as part of their first full-time Northern Cohort in Prince George.
Ellis believes that education and empowerment are the two most important aspects of recovery. Taking a trauma-informed and client-centred approach to treatment, Ellis utilizes a mix of treatment options that include education, exercise, and IMS. He understands that no one is the same, and is happy to work with anyone to achieve their goals.
Ellis has a fondness for working with athletic injuries, but ultimately just wants to help people return to what they love doing, whether you’re a weekend warrior or someone who was injured at work.
In his daily life, Ellis often spends time playing in local recreational sports leagues (hockey, soccer), enjoying board games with friends, or watching hockey!

Brenda Hall
After over 25 years as an RMT and Active Hydrotherapist, Brenda has found a wide range of treatment modalities to add to her “tool kit”. These include: Active Soft Tissue Release, Arthokinetics, End Range Loading, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage and much more.

Thomas Plewman
Thomas is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Formerly a support worker for individuals with special needs, he is experienced working with a wide diversity of clientele. In his practice, he uses a variety of active and passive modalities to deliver effective treatment including trigger point therapy and myofascial release. He also believes in educating his patients so they can actively participate in their own wellness outside the clinic.

Cory Egan
.After moving across the country to further her education at WCCMT, she now uses her expertise to help clients achieve long-term results.
Her patient-centered approach focuses on identifying the root cause of symptoms. Cory takes the time to thoroughly assess and listen to her clients, tailoring each treatment to their individual goals. Her techniques include active and passive methods such as stretching, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, and integrated movement.
While Cory specializes in injury rehabilitation, she welcomes clients with a broad range of health and wellness needs.
Outside the clinic, Cory enjoys photography, traveling, outdoor rock climbing, weight training, and soccer.

Jennifer Baggott
Jenn is a 2024 graduate of the Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Previous to being an massage therapist, she completed 5 years in the military which inspired her to enter into a field which assisted those who are injured, or in need of care. Jenn is currently offering ‘wellness’ or relaxation massage which incorporates myofasical and muscular manipulation.

Lauren Arsenault
Lauren completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Victoria. As a kinesiologist, Lauren integrates her knowledge of movement from her experience as a dancer with evidence-based kinesiology practices. Lauren is passionate about helping individuals maximize their health and performance using exercise. She loves collaborating with clients to design tailored exercise programs and healthy habits that can be enjoyed and integrated into their lives! Additionally, Lauren values education and enjoys sharing her knowledge of the human body, exercise, and health.

Rebecca Dutchak
Rebecca earned her degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she also competed on the varsity track and field team. She concluded her athletic career with a gold medal in the heptathlon at the 2024 NAIA Championships, setting a UBC school record in the process.
Rebecca’s mission as a kinesiologist is to empower individuals to move with ease and confidence. She designs tailored exercise programs for pain management, enhancing muscular strength, and optimizing mobility; all of which are informed by evidence-based practices. Her approach combines her academic background with insights gained as an athlete, enabling her to create effective, goal-oriented exercise plans that fit each client’s unique needs.
Rebecca’s passion for kinesiology began with her interest in biology and her love for sports. Growing up as a soccer player and track athlete, she’s always been inspired by the power of movement and is committed to helping others find strength, resilience, and confidence in their bodies. Outside of work, Rebecca likes going to the gym, reading, and trying new coffee shops!

Rebekah McMaster
Rebekah McMaster completed her diploma as a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine in April of 2008 at Oshio College in Victoria. She has been a practicing Registered Acupuncturist since March of 2009 and just celebrated 15 years of professional practice in the Alberni Valley and surrounding Indigenous communities.

Tessa Sivak
Tessa enjoys being a part of a collaborative team focused on improving the mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health of clients. She has counselled individuals, couples, families, and groups of all ages.
Tessa trained as a social worker, counsellor, and EMDR therapist giving her a unique perspective on how individuals are impacted by the larger world and how to work alongside clients to improve their individual lives.

Francisca Carrasco
Francisca has 14-years of experience working with clients from all backgrounds and all ages. Because of my own personal history I developed an interest in Compassion Focused Therapy, in which I have trained for many years and is my main therapeutic approach. I now work mostly with women who suffer from anxiety, depression, overthinking, self-criticism, low self-esteem and who feel that even though they try so hard, they are not happy and fulfilled with their lives.
